About Precious Women

Diana Wood, (Founder & Director, pictured on the right), Lucinda Irvine (Director, pictured on the left), and Stella Lewis (P.A. to the Directors, pictured below right with Diana Wood) together head up the Precious Women ministry. They also have a team of advisors including Mick Wood and Jim Irvine, the Director's husbands.

The primary way in which the Precious Women vision is achieved is via a variety of one-day seminars. These seminars are intended to be accessible to all women and are ideal events to invite non-Christian women too.

The seminars encourage women to be all that they can be - to grow in confidence and reach their full potential. Biblical life-skills are taught in a way that is not threatening to non-Christian women. Testimonials from previous seminars have been universally positive indicating that Precious Women have got the balance just about right.

The ethos of Precious Women can be summed up by the words of Christian Psychologist, Lawrence J. Crabb Jr. who said:- "The basic personal need of each person is to regard him/herself as a worthwhile human being."

We must understand that the hunger for self-worth is God given and can only be satisfied by HIM. Jesus himself said in John 10:10b (Amplified Bible):- "I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)".

We at Precious Women will endeavour to fulfill this wonderful commission by encouraging, equipping and empowering women to reach their full potential. We hope and pray that we'll see YOU at one of our seminars.
